That move from catering-only to a storefront happened because Calgarians kept asking for one thing our city had almost nowhere else: authentic, made-to-order takoyaki. Today we sit minutes from Winston Heights-Mountview, Mayland Heights, Vista Heights and Renfrew, just off Deerfoot Trail in northeast Calgary.
We started with takoyaki alone and grew into a fuller, seafood-driven Japanese street food menu. Classic Takoyaki arrives topped with takoyaki sauce, Japanese mayo, corn, bonito flakes, nori flakes, green onion and seaweed powder, with spicy, cheesy, shrimp (Ebiyaki) and crab variations, plus a loaded Ultimate Takoyaki stacked with crab, octopus, meat, quail egg, shrimp, cheese and sausage. Beyond the griddle you will find ramen, our Beef Japadog on a brioche bun, and Taiyaki, a warm custard-filled Japanese dessert.
